Kolade Onanuga aka K2 the future has lost an active member of his band named Lukman Tijani aka L&K Bata.
PT gathered that Tijani died on Wednesday 16, July 2025 after a brief illness, we gathered he still performed on Friday 11 July in Lagos and Saturday 12 July, 2025, he’s full of life and very passionate with his Bata drums playing.
He had since been buried according to Islamic rites.
Kolade confirmed the death of Lukman Tijani L&K through a telephone chat .”It’s true we lost Bata .It’s indeed a mourning period for the entire band ,he was an active and loyal member of the band.We love him but God loves him more and who are we to query the Almighty Allah.
The Late Lukman Tijani aged 57 has spent about 18years in Kolade’s band.
