My Second Term Will Not Be Business As Usual -Local Govt.Chair 

Chairman Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government ,Hon.Usman Akanni Hazmat has promised to surpass his first term tenure in terms of infrastructural development and performance.

Speaking yesterday at the council  Secretariat during the swearing in of New  Councillors ,Hazmat said “my second term is not business as usual but business unusual because I want to consolidate on my past achievements because I want to move at a very fast pace by doing  more in terms of  upgrading the health facilities within the Local Government,do more in the education sector,youth empowerment among others “.

While calling for cooperation between the legislature and the executives ,the Chairman advised the newly sworn in Councillors to legislate more on developmental projects ,serve their constituents to the best of their abilities and be ready to move at his own pace.

He however promised to give them a beginning council chambers as soon as possible.

After the swearing in ceremony the Chairman,the Councillors, stake holders and invited guests proceeded to the council chambers for the Proclamation/Inauguration of the 7th legislative council .

During the Proclamation,Hon.Adebo Samuel Kayode emerged as the leader of the house,Jelili Mudashiru , deputy leader ,Sonola Oluwole, Majority leader, Aregbesola Sakirat , Deputy Majority leader and Ibrahim Adelekan,Chief whip.

The event was attended by stake holders including,the Majority leader,Lagos State House of Assembly,Hon . Temitope Adedeji ,Hon.Dayo Saka Fafunmi,Hon.Benjamin Olabinjo,Hon.Rotimi Adeleye, Widow of Immediate Past  Chairman Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke, Pastor Mrs Modupe Oke , Chairman APC Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government,royal fathers including Oniju of Iju Ogundimu elect ,Mathew Gbolahan,Baales among others.
