One of Nigeria’s prolific Songwriter , music Producer and sound Engineer Albert Kalu aka Ibo man is dead.
Pt learned that Kalu who has been nursing throat cancer for sometime died early today.
His death was confirmed by Top actor / Musician Segun Pandonu Arinze through a telephone chat.
Also Samba Queen Stella Monye and Ade Apata aka Lt Shotgun mourned Kalu on their different Facebook pages respectively.
Top Soundtrack producer and actor Mike Nlian wrote on his wall “What’s going on? It seems all d great ones are gradually leaving us!….I feel a great loss that Albert Kalu (Ibo man) ,a friend,a fantastic guy and one of Nigeria’s great music producers in Nigeria and another colleague ,Reginal Ebere one of Nollywood’s great screenplay writers and filmmaker have gone to be with d Lord. May their souls rest in power “
Aged 54 ,Albert Kalu will be remembered for producing the musical work of top Nigerian artistes.He also featured in one of Edward Inyang aka Blakky”s musical work titled ‘Okada’.
