The All Progressives Congress APC, Chairmanship candidate for Abeokuta North Local Government in the 16, November 2024 Local Government election in Ogun state, Hon . Olanrewanju Oyegbola Sodipo has promised to partner international organizations so as to bring meaningful development to the Local Government.
Speaking during a chat in Abeokuta, ogun State Capital recently Sodipo
stated that as part of his programmes, if elected he will bring development into the Local government by involving some organizations that are affiliated to the United Nations agencies.
He also promised to involve prominent personalities in the local Government, either home or abroad who would contribute meaningfully to his programmes thereby giving his people the dividends of democracy.
The Chairmanship candidate added that his administration will contribute positively to the welfare of the people especially the aged and the pensioners.
He added that he would upgrade the health facilities in the Local Government thereby bringing qualitative health to the residents.
In the area of business Olanrewaju Sodipo promised to empower the youths ,the artisans,small scale business owner among others
” We will also engage youths in meaningful agricultural projects that will yield bountiful harvest for the LG, and we will be able to feed ourselves and the state as well”.
“We are also prepared to key into the ISEYA mantra of our indefatigable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in it’s entirety”
On fulfillment of campaign promises, Oyegbola Sodipo said that the Local Government Autonomy initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration which the State Governor has been one of its prime mover will be of greater assistance to the Local Government.
He , therefore, assured the electorates that they will see his performance with 100 days in the office.
