As Dr.Joseph Ohens becomes the President of Annunciation Catholic College, ACCIOBA, Irua Edo State tomorrow, Old Students of Nigerian Institute of Journalism, NIJ,Ogba 1991/92, sets are currently in Edo State to celebrate with him.
Ohens has emerged as Global President of the School’s Alumni Association after some of his major opponents stepped down for him because of his leadership quality during a keenly contested election in Irua on Friday.
The NIJ Students led by the then Class Governor, Tony Agbugba includes Charles Nwagbara, Chief Egege EkeMillion, Mike Orere, Alex Akao, Soji Oyinlola, Leke Oyegbami, Mark Akwuete, Moses Uchendu, Lorenzo, Lara Ijaola and Jumoke Coker.
Before the Old Students of NIJ departed to Irua on Thursday, they received the moral and financial support from colleagues in Nigeria and overseas namely Jimi Falade, Segun Adekola, Loye Hazmat, Oluwajimi Henry Kiladejo and others.
Tomorrow there will be ACCIOBA Platinum Jubilee celebration to be followed by commissioning of completed School project, swearing-in of the Ohens Joseph led exco in the school campus, after party and Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday.
