The oldest man in the palace of Alaafin of Oyo, in Oyo State Morenikeji Lasisi aka Baba Keji has reportedly passed away.
He died on Sunday at the age of 120 years. The cause of his death is however not disclosed.
The news of the death of Lasisi was announced on Monday.
Baba Keki as he is popularly called had served three Alaafin of Oyo before his death on Sunday, 10 months after the death of the 45th Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, whom he served for 51 years.
He has been buried according to Islamic rites this afternoon, sources in the Palace disclosed.
