Less than ten months after appointing Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye as the Onigegewura (Owner of the Golden Pen) of Akile Ijebuland by Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, Oba Dr. Sikiru Kayode Adetona, GCON, Ogbagba II,the respected foremost traditional ruler,has handed over a gift of GAC GS3 2024 Turbo Jeep to Oladunjoye .
This was disclosed by Oladunjoye on his Facebook page saying: “To God be the glory. Long may you reign Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, Alase, Igbakeji Orisa for the gift of a brand new car.
Oladunjoye, a veteran journalist, media consultant and poet, is also the publisher of Tunes magazine.
He was honoured by Awujale with a high ranking chieftaincy title last year as the Onigegewura of Ijebu land, the first person to be so appointed.
At sixty five year on the throne, Awujale is the longest reigning first class monarch in Nigeria. He was honoured with the second highest national honour of Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON) by President Tinubu last year during Awujale’s celebration of 90 years birthday and 64 years anniversary on the throne.
