
Contrary to the claim by the Lagos State Government that 38 persons died in the Ikoyi Collapsed Building , Pentouch can reveal that more people are still missing.
Investigation revealed that artisans from Lagos ,Ogun and Oyo State formed the bulk of the victims who were affected.
Some relatives of the victims who spoke with Pentouch claimed that despite their visits to the infectious disease hospital (IDH),Yaba and other hospitals in Lagos, State they are yet to see their relatives either dead or alive.
Investigation further revealed that the bulk of victims from Ogun State are from Mowe, Ibafo, Assese, Orimerunmu, Ogun State and it’s environ and they were said to have moved en masse with chartered vehicles to the site on the day of the incident.
Mother of a victim named Toheeb in Assese,Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State told PT that she is yet to see her son either dead or alive ‘i’m sure more people are still buried in the rubbles of the collapsed building because all our efforts since the day of the incident has not yielded any positive result’
She however appealed to the concerned authorities to help her find her son either dead or alive.
