The ancient City of Ilorin ,Kwara State was Agog as the foremost Support group for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu SWAGA’23 through its affiliate; North Central Agenda For Asiwaju NCAA unveils its new Secretariat.
Situated along Umaru Audi road, Fate, Ilorin, the new office according to the The Kogi State Chapter Chairman of the group and its North Central liaison Officer; Alhaji Raji Ibrahim is to serve as the rallying point for members to work, strategize and mobilize support for Tinubu and other APC flag bearers in the 2023 election.
In his welcome address, the State Chairman of NCAA/SWAGA’23 in Kwara State, Hon. Olabanji Olayemi thanked the National body of the group, the Kwara State party and progressive leaders, the Governor and various Stake holders and members of Asiwaju support groups for being part of the event and for supporting the effort of the group at mobilizing followers for the party flag bearers in the state.
Speaking at the commissioning of the new Secretariat, The national Chairman South West Agenda For Asiwaju (SWAGA ’23) Senator Dayo Adeyeye thanked the governor of Kwara State, Abdul Rahman Abdul Rasaq for his support and the entire people of Kwara State for believing in Asiwaju Tinubu and Kashim Shettima as the APC presidential flag bearers.
Also the Kwara State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi appreciated the NCAA for their foresight as a leading support group in the region and for mobilizing for the party with a promise to be there for them at every point in time. He promised further that as the state delivered hundred percent delegates for Asiwaju at the Presidential primaries the general elections will not be different because Kwara is ready to deliver totally for Asiwaju/Shettima ticket at the polls.
Delivering a good will message on behalf of Executive Governor Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, the State commissioner for Health Dr.Raji Rasaq thanked the NCAA for taking the initiative for the secretariat while urging members to work for the election of all APC candidates at the 2023 elections.
In his response, one of the leaders of SWAGA’23; Hon. Oyetunde Ojo thanked the governor and people of Kwara State for their steadfastness usual support, he however asked for more support ahead of the 2023 election.
Citing the critical and historical intervention of the likes of Chairman Mao, Winston Churchill and others in the emancipation of their countries, Ojo said Tinubu is in the mold of these great leaders and will perform beyond expectations in directing the affairs of Nigeria on her road to greatness.
Also present at the event were SWAGA’23 National Secretary, Hon Bosun Oladele, Treasurer, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke, National women leader; Hon. Ayo Omidiran, Hon. Akeem Muniru, Hon. Deji Jakande, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde ,Hon. Gani Omoluka, Hon. Mukaila Musa, Hajiya Fatima Bello, Chief Mrs. Yinka Olaiya, the Kwara State coordinator; Hon Garba Fatai Labaka, Princess Fagbemi, Hon. Mrs Afonja and other members of the Kwara State Exco of the group, Chief Jimoh Amekun and others.
The event was well attended from across and outside the state.
