A 37 year old woman named Omolola Oluwafunmilayo Ishola is currently on the run following a threat to her life over the property of her late father by people suspected to be her family over the property of her late father.
After the attack Omolola who was residing at 24 Olayemi Odutayo street ,Ikosi Ketu was attacked In January 2024 with her children namely Daniel Abimbola Kehinde and Medara Oluwatoni Kinglsley-Udoh have been living in fear, with constant high blood pressure .
The case was incidented at Ketu Divisional Police headquarters and the police promised to investigate the attack .
Earlier her mum had been killed a week after her father’s death and she was also receiving death threats from an Anonymous caller asking her to release her late father’s will so she would be killed like her parents.
Investigation revealed that the threat is as a result of her father’s will which is not in her custody despite being the only child of the deceased.
She had to run for safety and as a result of this she got to BelfastUk on 16 September but was sexually harassed by the husband of the woman who helped her to move to the UK ,so she had to move out of at night on the 19 September 2024 ,arriving in the Republic of Ireland on 20, September.
Because of the way she left the UK for Ireland she came in without any documents. She is currently seeking refuge because she is afraid of either going back to Nigeria so as not to be killed with her children or remaining in the UK to face further harassment.
