Ebony Life Place Victoria Island on Sunday played host to the la Creme de la Creme in the movie industry and others as a new movie titled ‘Scar’,Directed by Tope Alake ,produced by Jaiye Kuti and Adeleye Fabusoro was premiered.
Present at the premiere which was powered by Resq Promotions are CEO of ZAfri Homes and properties, Mr. Sunday Ayeni, Dr. Awa Ibraheem FCA, Mr. Dubem Orji( Marketing Manager Hero larger) and a host of other dignitaries.
‘Scar’ is a movie that pursues the journey of a young woman who has had to deal with rejection, humiliation, intimidation and ridicule from childhood due to an accident that left her face partially burned, which resulted in a significant scar on her face. Despite being a very smart lady and beautiful woman this prevented her from getting a decent job and caused her emotional torture.
The movie Features star actresses like Jaiye Kuti, Tina Mba,Jenifer Obod with Mofe Duncan, Enem Ufot, Baaj Adebule, Chinonso Arubayi, and others.
Speaking about the movie the co-producer cum actress who also played one of the lead roles in the movie said “I love the title ‘Scarred’ , though producing the movie wasn’t easy but my co-producer, Adeleye Fabusoro, and my crew worked tirelessly to produce this movie.
Tina Mba, who also played a role in the movie said she took up the role she played in the movie based on her conviction when she saw the script.
” It was a very nice movie. When I was given the script I saw it as one movie that expanciate more on sincerity and submission of true love. So it never took me time to accept to be part of this project and I don’t have any regret whatsoever. “
