A former lawmaker who represented Ife Federal constituency in the 7th Assembly in Osun State, Hon. Rotimi Makinde, has felicitated with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on the occasion of his 49th birthday anniversary.
Speaking through a congratulatory message sent to Ooni and made available to Pt Hon Makinde described the famous traditional ruler as a distinguished royal father and worthy ambassador not only to Osun State alone but the nation at large.
The Ife born politician, lauded the traditional ruler for prioritizing the welfare of his subjects while commending him for his total commitment to the peace, stability, and development of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole since he ascended the throne.
The former lawmaker, also praised Oba Ogunwusi’s devotion to youth empowerment and development, noting that his various interventions in youth advocacy, entrepreneurship, agriculture, and education had impacted on young people in and outside Osun State.
