Miliki FM,the first radio station to pioneer indigenous broadcasting in Nigeria, is a year old .
The station owned by Chief Dele Ajomale will be having a two in one celebration on Friday 1,and Sunday 3, September 2023.
Speaking on the activities lined up for the two day events ,the General Manager Miliki FM, Niyii Ojemakinde said the anniversary day is a day to remember and it will be specially for the listeners because of their consistency and support over the last one year ,”we are bringing a minimum of 100 listeners who will come to mingle and celebrate with us”
Ojemakinde said on Sunday,3, September 2023 the station will play host to top music and movie stars namely Admiral Dele Abiodun, Aare Sir Shina Akanni,Adewale Ayuba ,Prince Jide Kosoko ,Funsho Adeolu , Mike Abdul and others.at K&K Events Centre ,Ojodu.Lagos with Dipo Gatos on band stand.
He added that the grand finale of Miliki FM Talent hunt programme “Irawo ni mi ‘ where seven contestants out of the initial 42 will slug it out comes up the same day..
The GM of the radio station said that the Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly Rt.Hon Mudashiru Obasa has agreed to be the Chairman and special guest of honour For the event.
It will be recalled that Miliki FM commenced broadcasting on 1, September 2022 .
