Nigerians, especially beer drinkers will be paying more to enjoy alcoholic beverages.
Pt learned that Nigerian Breweries has increased beer prices due to rising production costs.
According to a letter dated Monday, February 12, 2024 stated that the price revision will take effect from Monday, February 19, 2024, is considered essential in order to counterbalance the influence of rising production costs.
The content of the letter sent to major distributors stated ,“This is to inform you that we are constrained to review the prices of some of our SKUs with effect from Monday, February 19, 2024.
“This review has become necessary because of continued rising input cost and the need to mitigate the impact,” the statement indicated.
