A new radio Station owned by former House of Representatives member representing Ife Federal Constituency Hon.Rotimi Makinde has commenced transmission in Alagbole area of Lagos State.
Oodua Fm 106.9 Fm according to Makinde has a Commercial license and it is an offshoot of Oodua Fm situated in Ife Osun State.
He said his intention with the new radio station is to cover Lagos,,Ogun State ,parts of Oyo State especially Ibada.State ‘after seven years existence in Ife Osun State we are now in Lagos.to compliment the Ife station we also plan to explore Lagos , preach the culture we are known for.and our Motor is ‘Pride of the West’
He added that the station is non political,non tribal ,it is l to unite all and sundry our desire is to satisfy all Nigerians in the area of education, information and Entertainment ‘I realized it is a competitive market so we have capture Osun ,Ekiti ,Ondo so coming to Lagos is no big deal and we are not in n competition with anybody but I know we will soon separate the grains from the shaft,test transmission has began ,full transmission is a matter of days’ .
