Following an increase in the pump price of Petrol by Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, today, the price per litre of PMS is now 617 naira per litre.
This increase has led to resumption of queues at filling stations because of panic buying .
However, PT gathered that the product in some areas like Mowe, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, some marketers are yet to adjust their pump price to reflect NNPCL’s as it was being sold for N550 per litre.
This increase, no doubt, may further aggravate the pains of Nigerians who woke up to the sudden removal of subsidy to about N500 per litre recently.
