
Residents, commuters and motorists plying the popular Geepee / Alhaji Humani / Babakonkolo road in Iloye area of Ado – Odo/ Ota Local Government, Ogun State have lauded the Founder/ President of Majestic Grace Embassy International, Iloye – Sango Ota, Pastor (Dr.) Grace Wisdom (a.k.a the Prophetic Eagle), for the recent rehabilitation works on the ever – busy road.
A resident, Engr. Ayo Adewole, affirmed that this singular action of Dr. Wisdom had renewed the hope of residents, motorists and commuters in the communities along Geepee/ Alhaji Humani/ Babakonkolo / Iloye road who had virtually lost hope that the road, which was in a very deplorable condition will ever be repaired.
He said that the rehabilitation works on the road had, no doubt, brought succour to residents of Oreofero CDA, Imole Iye CDA, Igi Oluwagbin CDA, United People’s Estate CDA, Igbekeleoluwa CDA, Opeoluwa CDA, Ifeoluwa CDA, Ifelodun CDA, Olokuta CDA, Olorunsogo CDA, Orile Iloye CDA, Ifedara CDA and thousands of motorists daily plying the road.
Taiwo Ajenifuja, a motorist, expressed his joy for the rehabilitation works on the road, saying that prior to the intervention by the Church, he and other users of the road had greatly lamented over the deplorable condition of the road as it was in a state of total disrepair and had become impassable
He, however, gave kudos to Majestic Grace Embassy International Church for coming to the rescue of the residents and commuters.
Alhaja Salmot Korede, a market leader in the Iloye community, said she was delighted on the rehabilitation works carried out on the road by the Church, stressing that prior to the palliative works, the road was, no doubt, in a terrible state and causing inconvenience for commuters and cutting down business and economic activities of the people.
An okada rider, Mr. Femi Adewole, eulogised Majestic Grace Embassy International for coming to the aid of the residents and road users as riding on the deplorable road prior to the intervention by the Church had become a nightmare and this was a big challenge for residents and road users.
” Before now, the residents were in a state of dilemma as they were already passed off, worried and angry that the road was turning from bad to worse on a daily basis, but our appreciation goes to Majestic Grace Embassy International for its intervention”.
Mr. Ibrahim Dauda, a motorist and resident, described the efforts of the Church as a good gesture that the community would forever be proud of, noting that the road is a critical one connecting Iloye and other areas under it to Ajegunle / Amje in Lagos State and Ota in Ogun State and definitely needs regular rehabilitation.
Venerable Adetola Adewole, another resident, commended the Church and its members for the palliative works on the hitherto dilapidated road, stressing that this would, no doubt, bring high hope across the over 25 communities in the axis, especially residents, commuters, motorists and other road users.
Pa Dauda Otolorin, an octogenarian and resident, described going through the road prior to the Church intervention as a self – punishment, adding that apart from the security and economic implications, the deplorable road left residents and road users in perpetual trauma and vulnerable to damages.
He, however, thanked the Church for the rehabilitation works on the road as this had brought relief to residents, commuters and motorists plying the road
In a chat with the President / Founder, Majestic Grace Embassy International, Pastor (Dr.) Grace Wisdom, on the efforts of the Church on the road rehabilitation works, he described it as part of the Church Community Social Responsibility.
He explained that prior to the Church intervention, the deplorable state of the road had made commuting on the road an herculean task for the large settlements around the axis, thus hindering profitable economic activities.
Wisdom, however, stressed that all the inconveniences often experienced by residents informed his decision to embark on the palliative works on the road immediately the Church moved to its headquarters located on the road.
