A United States of America based Waka Queen,Ismot Abake Abiola (Omo Opeki) aka PQ1st is set to return to Nigeria.
Abiola who travelled to the States in 2017 said that she is returning home to present her new album titled ‘Step Up’ to her fans in Nigeria.
Speaking with Pt from her base in the US,Abake said that she included fuji music in her brand of music in 2011 during her first trip outside Nigeria ,that is to UK where she performed for Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister fans club and she had to sing Fuji.
She said since that day ‘I changed my the name of my organization from ‘Waka reporters ‘ to ‘Classical Waka Fuji band which is a combination of Waka and Fuji music,this has also boosts my singing Carrier ‘
The paramount Queen of music who started singing in 1975 said it took her so long to release her debut in 2008 because of the attitude of promoters who will always want to sleep with female artiste before rendering assistance,’so I have to release my album under my own label SUWAT Music ‘.
Presently ,the WakaFuji crooner said her second album is ready and will be released in US and Nigeria at the same time,’i m coming home to promote the album ‘Step Up’ and to show that I have stepped up Musically ‘
