The leadership and key stakeholders of the Lagos West Senatorial District of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have unanimously endorsed Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (KOH) as their preferred Governorship Aspirant for Lagos State.

All Progressives Congress (APC) stated that the endorsement was made during a strategic meeting held in Amuwo Odofin, where party leaders, grassroots mobilizers, and prominent stakeholders across the senatorial district converged to deliberate on the future of Lagos State and the continued progress of the party.
Salvador-Adebayo said that in a show of unity and purpose, the Lagos West bloc declared its total support for Dr. Hamzat, citing his proven track record in governance, loyalty to the party, and unwavering commitment to the developmental agenda of Lagos State.
He said that the stakeholders emphasized that his wealth of experience and administrative competence make him the ideal candidate to sustain and build upon the achievements of the current administration.
And that following deep and extensive deliberations led by the Chairman of Lagos West Senatorial Leaders, Rabiu Oluwa, the house also unanimously resolved to support the second-term agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, acknowledging his leadership strides and ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s socio-economic framework.
“The endorsement of Dr. Hamzat was subsequently formalized through a motion moved by Adekunle Ayoola of Badagry Division and seconded by an Honourable member representing Oshodi-Isolo LGA, both respected leaders within the district. This process reflected a unified and collective decision of the entire Lagos West political family”.
Speaking at the meeting, party leaders highlighted Hamzat’s dedication to public service, his role in driving impactful policies, and his deep understanding of the socio-economic dynamics of Lagos State. They expressed strong confidence that his emergence as the APC flagbearer would guarantee electoral victory and ensure continuity in good governance.
The endorsement further underscores the collective resolve of Lagos West to present a formidable and widely acceptable candidate who embodies the values, vision, and progressive ideals of the APC
Stakeholders also called on other senatorial districts, party faithful, and well-meaning Lagosians to support Hamzat’s aspiration, as well as Tinubu’s administration, in the interest of unity, continuity, and sustainable development.
The meeting concluded with a resounding vote of confidence in Hamzat and a renewed commitment by Lagos West leaders to mobilize support across all wards and local government areas to ensure his emergence as the party’s candidate and eventual victory at the polls.
