Aminat Yusuf.
Following the feat of Hilda Baci as the current holder of the Guinness World Record for cook-a-thon, another female, Aminat Yusuf, the genius law scholar, has emerged the Best Graduating Student in the 40 year history of Lagos State University, LASU, with an excellent CGPA of 5.0 in the ongoing 26th convocation ceremony of the university and has received the sum of N2.5 Million naira as gift.
The naira rain was showered on Yusuf by the traditional ruler of Iba Kingdom, Oba Adeshina Suleiman Okikiola Raji Ashade, the Oniba Ekun of Iba and the management of the school to celebrate her uncommon feat.
Earlier the university management has on Wednesday 14, June 2023 awarded her the sum of five hundred thousand naira while the the reverred king, whose kingdom is one of the host communities of LASU, gifted her with a cheque of two million naira when he hosted her and parents on Sunday 18 June 2023.
The Oniba, who is also set to be awarded with an honorary doctorate degree at the university’s convocation, commended Aminat for achieving the feat saying that she was was being celebrated because it will open doors of greatness for his own children and also serve as an inspiration to the young people in the kingdom.
