Eyan Atata, a new Yoruba-language interview programme, has debuted on FAARI TV, adding a fresh voice to Nigeria’s cultural and current affairs landscape.
The programme, which translates to “Important Personalities,” spotlights influential figures across society, from traditional rulers and industry leaders to cultural icons and changemakers.
Each episode features in-depth, dignified conversations aimed at documenting insight, leadership, and lived experience.
“Eyan Atata” is crafted and anchored by seasoned journalist Ayodele Ayeyẹmi, who also serves as Executive Producer. The show is designed as an online-first format, making it accessible to audiences across Nigeria and the diaspora.
Speaking on the debut, Ayeyẹmi said the goal is to create a “brand-safe platform for thoughtful dialogue” where notable voices can engage issues of culture, governance, and development without the noise of controversy.
The programme airs weekly on FAARI TV’s digital platforms, with highlight clips distributed across social media for wider reach. Industry watchers note that the long-form interview format targets decision-makers and aspirational viewers who prefer substance over short-form content.
With its focus on premium guests and cultural relevance, “Eyan Atata”enters the media space as a potential hub for leadership discourse and brand partnerships.
