As the remains of the Late Alhaji Love Azeez was buried today , Thursday 18 June 2026,at his residence in Ojodu area of Lagos State,former President of Performing Musicians Association Of Nigeria (PMAN) and Chairman COSSON ,Chief Tony Okoroji,top Fuji Musicians and others honoured the veteran Fuji Musician.
Okoroji who was present during the burial described Love Azeez as a detribalised musician and a person who has contributed immensely to the growth of Fuji music.
“Baba is a person I have known for a very long time,very cool headed and an interesting person to work with,may his soul rest in peace ‘
The President of Fuji Musicians Association of Nigeria (FUMAN) was represented at the burial by The executives led by General Secretary,Adekunle Tadico, Assistant General Secretary, Alhaji Nurudeen Iyanda Fasta Fosto,Samilia and others.
Aare Sir Shina Akanni Aroworeyin Scorpido,Alhaji Kolinton Ayinla were also represented.
Other attendees are FUMAN Governor, Lagos State,Tunde Dharmendra,Sodikoko,Adawa Fuji
Alhaji WaidiAkangbe,Adewale Ahmeda Fuji Konta,Adisa Owala from Kwara State and others.
Alhaji Love Azeez died on Wednesday afternoon after a brief illness.He was aged 82.
