Following the arrest of two of his aides namely Azeez Lawal aka Kunle Poly and Musthapha Sego after a violent clash that left four people dead and several others injured in Idumota Lagos Island and remand of one of them (Kunle Poly) by a Yaba Chief Magistrate court, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo is in fresh trouble as his claim to the King of Oshodi has hit a brick wall.
Recently the two ruling families in Oshodi namely the Oshodi-Tapa and Olushi family have disowned Akinsanya saying he is not from any of the Royal family and he can not be crowned as an Oba.
Speaking duriing a press conference in Lagos the Chairman of Oshodi-Tapa family Alhaji Moroofdeen Oshodi said MC Oluomo is not from his family and the family is yet to nominate anybody to fill the vacant Stool of Olu of Oshodi .
Also Prince Yaya Ayinla Oseni Agedegudu from the Olushi Royal family said that the Lagos State Chairman of the NURTW is not from a royal family therefore he has no right to the throne.’it is even a taboo for him to aspire to the throne because he is a tenant in Oshodi”.
Apart from the Kingship tussle ,Pt learned that the crisis rocking Lagos State Chapter of the NURTW may linger on as some members if the Union are not satisfy with the role played MC during the Lagos Island crisis .
Thier believe is that he ( MC) is taking sides with Musthapha Sego and this has polarised the Union and it might be heading for a break up.
