The daughter of Nollywood actor, John Okafor, otherwise known as Mr. Ibu said that one of her father’s legs was amputated in order to save his life.
She said that the step was taken after the Nollywood actor had undergone several surgeries and that the amputation was the last option in order for him to stay alive.
The new development was revealed by his daughter on his (Mr Ibu’s) official IG account.
“As at 1:00 pm today, daddy had gone through seven successful surgeries but to keep him alive and increase his chances of recovery, one of his legs had to be amputated. This development had been hard on all of us.”
