Following the dissolution of Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers Union (NURTW) by Alhaji Tajideen Baruwa led national Exco. and appointment of Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo by the Lagos State Government as Chairman Lagos State parks and management committee ,an uneasy calm now reigns at the Lagos State Secretariat of the Union.
Pt learned that parts of the condition given to Akinsanya after the dissolution of his Ecxco by the national body was to hand over all the properties of the Union to the new Chairman Seyi Bamkole .
Investigation revealed that the sacked Chairman is yet to hand over the properties of the Union to Bamkole including the Lagos State Secretariat.
When Pt called at the state Secretariat on 22/24 Ladoje street Oko-Oba Agege the main office was securely locked except the security post being mounted by a plain cloth security man and the mosque which was used by the Muslim faithful to observe the Jumat prayer yesterday.
Neither Akinsanya nor Bamkole could not be seen for comments on the isuue .
It would be recalled that in the wake of crisis that rocked the Lagos State Chapter of NURTW ,Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya was suspended for insurbodination by the national body while the Lagos State Government banned the activities of the Union at the motor parks.
Subsequently the Baruwa led national Exco. dissolved the Lagos executives and appointment Seyi Bamkole as new Chairman while the Lagos State Government name Akinsanya as the Chairman of Lagos State parks and management committee.
